The UK Government published an Energy White Paper in December 2020 entitled Powering Our Net Zero Future. In it the Government stated that it was committed to agreeing a North Sea Transition Sector Deal. This deal includes support for cleaner energy production, the delivery of CCUS and the development of hydrogen production. All of which are in alignment with Lir Resources’ business strategy.
