Lir Resources is a next generation energy company with two ambitions: (i) to supply indigenous, commercially attractive and secure energy to the UK; and (ii) to combat climate change by delivering low carbon intensity resources in line with the UK ambitions.
Lir Resources will realise the gas potential of the East Irish Sea and Southern North Sea Basins by employing innovative platform and greenhouse gas (GHG) reducing technologies and by utilising existing production and pipeline infrastructure.
Lir will assist the UK in reducing its reliance on imported gas, piped from Europe or shipped globally as LNG and help to ensure that future gas supplies will be secure and affordable.
